These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nyayalay platform. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

Nyayalay provides:

• AI-powered transcription
• Transliteration
• Case-user mapping
• Document automation
• Workflow and process tools
• Support modules for judges, advocates, staff, and litigants

You must:

• Use the service lawfully
• Not upload data you don’t have rights to
• Not misuse, copy, or extract proprietary components of Nyayalay

2. User Responsibilities

• You will verify all AI-generated outputs (transcripts, summaries, mappings, etc.)
• You will not rely solely on automated results for legal proceedings
• You will maintain backups of important data
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials
• Any data uploaded must comply with applicable laws

3. Accuracy Limitations & Risk Disclosure

Nyayalay includes AI models that may produce:

• Inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading transcriptions
• Errors in transliteration
• Incorrect associations in case-user mapping
• Faulty or incomplete summaries
• Workflow suggestions that may not align with legal procedures

You acknowledge that:

• Nyayalay is a technological aid, not a legal authority
• Human verification is mandatory
• Outputs must not be submitted in court without validation

Nyayalay shall not be responsible for:

• Losses resulting from incorrect AI output
• Delays in transcription
• Misidentification of speakers
• Mislabeled case information
• Downtime or service interruptions
• Loss of uploaded files due to technical error
• Data corruption or export incompatibility

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to access internal systems
• Introduce malware or disrupt the platform
• Use the system to process illegally obtained data
• Use AI outputs to mislead courts or parties
• Misrepresent AI-generated text as certified content

5. Intellectual Property

All software, algorithms, designs, and UI elements are the exclusive property of Nyayalay. Users retain ownership of their uploaded content.

Nyayalay receives a limited license to process uploaded data solely for providing services.

6. Data Privacy & Protection

See the Privacy Policy above. Use of the system implies acceptance of data processing as described.

7. Indemnification

• Improper use of the platform
• Uploading data without lawful rights
• Misuse of AI output in legal or administrative contexts
• Violation of these Terms

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Nyayalay is not liable for any direct or indirect damage
• Legal, financial, or case-related consequences from inaccurate output
• Loss of revenue, profits, or case outcomes
• Data loss or service interruption

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is discontinuing use.

9. Service Availability

We strive for uptime but do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability
• Error-free operation
• Preservation of all data

Maintenance, updates, and outages may occur.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if users:

• Violate these Terms
• Use the system unlawfully
• Threaten platform security

Users may delete their account anytime, subject to data retention policies.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through:

• Initial negotiation
• Mediation
• Courts with appropriate jurisdiction

12. Amendments

Nyayalay may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
